Welcome to the new site! I'm so excited about it! It was a lot of fun to do and a lot of work too....and I wasn't even the one who actually did it (thanks Brenda!)

When it came time to update the about me section of the site I went back to my old site and read it over and you know, not much has changed. I still love my job and still cry at weddings.

As I'm going into my ninth year I am forced to reflect on the past. So much has changed in the world of photography over the years. From equipment to style, it's all new. One thing though, that has remained the same is people. As a photographer I work with people not just for a day but for the most important day of your life! It is my job to preserve the memory of an event so spectacular that it was months even years in the making.  More importantly, it is my job to capture the emotion and the love that you experience and share on that most spectacular day.

I love my job and get excited about every wedding. I can't help but take in the emotion of the moment of watching a parents first look at their daughter when she walks in the room in her wedding gown. I am still so grateful to be a part of a day where love and pride are at it's peak.....it's amazing!

In the past nine years I have changed and grown as a person. I have two amazing children, and will be celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary.

I still think it's important to grow and to learn. To be humble and vulnerable at times, and to acknowledge the people who have helped you along the path of life.

I thank God for my family and friends, for the people who have inspired and encouraged me, and for the opportunity to live this amazing life.
